I am a biochemist and my current research interests are as follows:

These days I am establishing a cell-culture facility in Dr Y J Zheng‘s Lab at Department of Chemistry in Georgia State University. Here we would grow cancer cells of various origin and design & perform experiments to evaluate anti cancer properties of synthetic molecules with inherent anticancer properties.

Earlier, I learned molecular biology techniques used in immunology research in Dr Yuan Liu‘s Lab in Biology Department of Georgia State University. Before joining Georgia State University in September 2010, I was CSIR-Research Associate in Department of Biological Sciences of Rani Durgavati University, Jabalpur in INDIA. I joined RD University Jabalpur in 2002 as MS student in Biochemistry. Later, I joined a research project with Prof. Akhilesh K. Pandey in Biosciences Department leading to my PhD dissertation.

During my PhD work, I wrote a research grant which was funded by Madhya Pradesh Council of Science and Technology for a period of 3 years. During end of my PhD, I joined a CSIR funded project as Senior Research Fellow which was upgraded to CSIR-Research Associate ship after I defended my thesis in April 2009.
